PM Nawaz inaugurates three development projects in Quetta

QUETTA (Staff Report) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif arrived here on Thursday to review law and order and perform groundbreaking of three development projects for the province.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif is also accompanied him.

The projects included Mangi Dam, Balochistan Agriculture University and Flyover on Smungli Road.

The Prime Minister was also given a briefing on the projects. The Mangi Dam project will be completed at a cost of 9853 million rupees, Sumungli Road Flyover with nearly 1500 million rupees and agricultural University at a cost of 4589 million rupees.

The PM also inaugurated Sariab Road Flyover, which has been completed at a cost of 1581 million rupees.

Federal Ministers Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Abdul Qadir Baloch, Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai and Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch were also present on the occasion.

Meanwhile,a meeting of the Special Apex Committee in the chair of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif held provincial capital.

Governor Balochistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai, Chief Minister Balochistan Dr. Abdul Malik Baloch, Army Chief Staff General Raheel Sharif and senior military and civil officials are attending the meeting.
