LONDON –Pakistan defeated Northants by eight wickets at Wantage Road on Monday after topping the hosts’ 273-6.
Fakhar Zaman scored 101 off 81 balls with 15 fours and a six, while Imam contributed with 71 off 79 balls with five fours and two sixes. Azam hit an unbeaten 68 from 53 balls with five fours and three sixes.

Pakistan will play against Leicestershire on Wednesday. The Green Shirts will play T20 against England in Cardiff on Sunday.

Earlier, Sarfraz’s men beat Kent by 100 runs in their opening 50-over warm-up in Beckenham on Saturday. Imad Wasim hit an unbeaten century, while Zaman made 76 and Haris Sohail 75.
