NAB recovers gold bars from ex-CM s special assistant

PESHAWAR (Online) – The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) has recovered gold bars worth millions from the house of former Special Assistant to KP CM Ameer Haider Khan Hoti.

According to official sources, Syed Masoom Shah was arrested on 11th August over allegations of corruption and accumulation of assets worth millions of rupees.

His properties include a house and Hujra on 12 Kanal land in his village Battagram District, two plots in Hayatabad, two plots in Regi Model Town, two plots in DHA Karachi, a house at Tulip Road Bahria Town Rawalpindi, 1 kanal house in Zaryab Colony Peshawar, 3 kanal land in Tehkal Bala Peshawar, 1 Kanal land on Warsak Road Peshawar.

Sources told Online the Accountability Court Peshawar granted remand to Shah and was handed over to NAB for further inquiry, where he confessed that he buried gold bars in a hide out.
