JAKARTA (Web Desk) – A Indonesian district government has imposed ban on dating after 9 pm in the night.
The lovebirds found violating the ban will be forced to marry each other in Purwakarta district which consists of over 200 villages.
According to media reports, district government led by Dedi Mulyadi imposed the ban during a session of representatives of all the villages. All two hundred representatives voted in favor of ban.
Dedi Mulyadi believes that such steps will discourage the events of sexual intercourse prior to legal marriages in the district. “The district government will suspend any financial aid to the villages where ban will not be ensured,” he added.
One of villages located in Purwakarta district already has such law imposed in its territory, Mulyadi was informed during the session.
