ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Top Pakistan People’s Party leader and former interior minister Senator Rehman Malik on Monday called on Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and handed over Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s letter to him over draft of political jirga.
The government would respond to PTI’s letter within three days, Malik told a group of reporters, as he sounded optimistic that the matter was moving towards its logical conclusion.
He said the entire nation should stand united at the time of formation of judicial commission on poll-rigging. The government, he added, appreciated the role of political jirga.
The jirga members would meet Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif after return of Sirajul Haq from Saudi Arabia, concluded Malik.
