Complete shutdown in Occupied Kashmir against ban on cow slaughtering

OCCUPIED KASHMIR (Webb Desk)-A complete shutdown was being observed on Saturday (12 September), against anti-Muslim ruling of the High Court banning sale of beef and cow slaughter in the territory.

Call for the shutdown was given by veteran Kashmiri leader Syed Ali Gilani, Chairman All Parties Hurriyet Conference Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front Chief Muhammad Yasin Malik.

All shops and business establishments in the valley are closed while traffic is off the road.

The occupation authorities have imposed restrictions in Srinagar and deployed troops and police personnel in other towns to prevent people from staging demonstrations against the court verdict
