Nabil Gabol resigns as member National Assembly

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement’s Sardar Nabil Gabol has resigned as member of the National Assembly, media reports said.

The reason behind this extreme step is yet to be known, but sources say he had serious differences with the party leadership.

Gabol, while talking to a private news channel, said his resignation was necessary because he was going to do something great for the country. He said he would make public the reason behind his resignation in a press conference on Wednesday.

Gabol has meanwhile sent his resignation to the National Assembly speaker. Reports say he is parting ways with the MQM as well.

Gabol was elected as MNA from NA-246 Karachi in the general polls 2013.

MQM had refuted reports about differences with Gabol.

Gabol had joined MQM after he parted ways with Pakistan People’s Party just before the 2013 general elections, claiming PPP was no longer a party of Benazir Bhutto and Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
