Sindh ignoring WHO s anti-swine flu recommendations

KARACHI (Web Desk) – The Sindh government has ignored the recommendations of the World Health Organisaiton (WHO) to tackle the swine flu.

According to a BBC report, over 700 people have died of a swine flu outbreak in India since mid-December.

The WHO recommendations called for the establishment of isolation wards and influenza labs in hospitals but these have not been followed by the Sindh government as yet.

The failure to follow the WHO recommendations might pose a risk of swine flu outbreak in the country.
