ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Pakistan has decided to frame charges against religious seminaries facilitating terrorism pushing them for registration.
The decision was made in a meeting under Federal Interior Minister Choudhary Nisar Ali Khan regarding implementation of National Action Plan for fight against militancy, media reports say.
Systematic arrangements will be made at district level for registration of all the seminaries, said Nisar while addressing the session. “All those seminaries failing to get registered will face legal consequences”, he explained.
During the meeting formation of a code of conduct for the media houses to check the appearance of militants or their supporters on television was also pondered. The final decision will be made in upcoming sessions.
