India had planned air strikes in Pakistan after Mumbai attacks: Kasuri

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Former Pakistani foreign minister Khurshid Mahmud Kasuri revealed that India planned to launch air strikes on Pakistan after Mumbai attacks 2008.

Leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) told that Indian planned to launch air strike to target banned militant group Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) and Jamaatud Dawa (JuD), Dawn News reported.

While giving an interview to Indian media, he said that United States (US) delegation led by Senator John McCain had met and revealed the Indian plan.

“We have come from India where there is a lot of anger. Supposing there is limited strike on Muridke, the headquarters of JuD,” Kasuri quoted John McCain statement.

‘Neither a Hawk nor a Dove’, Kasuri book was launched in Pakistan last month and arrangements are underway for its launch in India on Oct 7.
