Muhammad Amir signs for Bangladesh Premier League

KARACHI (Staff Report) – Pakistani fast-bowler Muhammad Amir, who was convicted for involvement in match fixing, has signed for the Chittagong Kings to participate in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL).

According to reports, Amir has signed a direct contract with the franchise.

Earlier, Shahid Afridi signed with Sylhet and Shoaib Malik with Comilla Victorians.

Ahmed Shahzad, Muhammad Hafeez and Yasir Shah are also engaged in talks for direct contacts.

The Bangladesh Cricket Board will not provide bank guarantee for players who will sign direct contract with franchises.
