India gets easy win over UAE

PERTH (Web Desk) – India, on Saturday, defeated United Arab Emirates (UAE) by 9 wickets in pool B match during the ongoing cricket world cup 2015, in Perth cricket ground.

UAE, while batting first after winning the toss, hardly managed to score 102 runs only when the whole collapsed 32nd over of the innings. Indian pacer Ashwin picked 4 wickets against 25 runs whereas Yadav and Jadeja grabbed two wickets each.

UAE’s Shaiman Anwer was the only batsman to stay long at the crease and scored 35 runs off 49 balls. As many as eight batsman of the team failed to score in double figure.

India, which has a strong batting order, successfully chased the target in 19th over without facing any hurdle. Rohit Sharma thrashed the opponents with a quick fifty.

Mohammad Naveed, right armed medium fast bowler of UAE, managed to pick the only wicket against India.

United Arab Emirates (UAE) became part of the mega event for the first time where it still has to meet the first victory.
