MUMBAI (Web Desk) – While the upcoming movie of Bollywood stars Salman Khan and Sonam Kapoor, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, is continuing to cause a stir ahead of its release, a latest media report has disclosed that more than 7,000 diyas (earthen lamps) were used picturise the song “Jalte Diye” which was released on Wednesday.
India media reports quoted an unnamed film spokesman saying that it took the production team more than 150 people to light the diyas and keep them burning throughout the shoot of Jalte Diye.
“Sooraj (Barjatya) undertook extensive measures to bring in a royal look to the song. Nearly 150 crew members were present to make sure that the diyas stayed lit,” a spokesperson of the film said.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo, which brings together Bollywood’s once indomitable team of Salman and Barjatya after 16 years, stars Sonam Kapoor, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Anupam Kher in key roles.
The film is set to be release on November 12, a day after Hindu festival of Diwali.
