PM Nawaz vows to end loadshedding before next election

ISLAMABAD (Online) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said reforms in energy sector are top priority of the government.

Talking to the Chief Executive Officer of the General Electric Jeffery R Immelt in Islamabad on Tuesday, the prime minister said that efforts are being made to end loadshedding within our tenure.

The premier said due to efforts of the government, there is no loadshedding in industrial sector. He said the government is committed to end loadshedding for domestic consumers along with providing them electricity at cheaper rates.

Jeffery R Immelt lauded government’s energy and investment policies.

Meanwhile, Naval Chief Admiral Muhammad Zakaullah called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad and discussed professional and organizational matters of Pakistan Navy.
