De Villiers scores fastest ODI century

JONASBERG (Web Desk) – South Africa’s AB de Villiers has scored the fastest ODI one hundred runs off 31 balls against West Indies. He replaced Corey Anderson as the fastest cricketer of the world who had scored century off 36 balls. De Villiers managed his one hundred runs by hitting 10 sixes and 8 fours with only 3 three dot balls. He also maintained a strike rate of 354. He was caught by Carter on 149 off 49 balls on the 49th over of the inning while South Africa scored 439, the second highest score in ODI Previously the record was held by Corey Anderson of New Zealand for more than a year bybreaking the record of Shahid Afrid who scored 100 off 37 balls.
