PML-N Scotland president under investigation in tax fraud case

GLASGOW (Web Desk) – Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Scotland chapter  Mohammed Ameen Mirza is being investigated for his alleged involvement in a tax fraud case by the British authorities, said media reports.

British police has so far seized £900,000 in raids at the residence and a store owned by Mirza, who runs a chain of departmental store “Nisa” in Cambuslang, the Gorbals and Haghill.

He has been charged with fraudulently evading value-added tax by failing to declare his original earnings.

Mohammed Ameen Mirza has been a prominent business figure among South Asian society in Galsgow. He is said to be taking care PML-N’s Scotland chapter as well.
