NA passes Pak Army, Minimum Wages for Unskilled Workers bills

ISLAMABAD (Online) – The National Assembly on Wednesday passed The Pakistan Army (Amendment) Bill, 2015.

Moved by Parliamentary Secretary for Defence Ch. Jaffer Iqbal, the Bill provides to further amend the Pakistan Army Act, 1952.

Opposition members expressed their reservations on the bill and said it will affect the fundamental rights of people.

The National Assembly also passed the Minimum Wages for Unskilled Workers (Amendment) Bill, 2015.
The Bill moved by Parliamentary Secretary Inter-Provincial Coordination Shafqat Hayat Khan, provides further amendment of the minimum wages for unskilled workers Ordinance, 1969 in its application to the Islamabad capital territory.

Parliamentary Secretary for Cabinet Division Raja Javed Ikhlas told the House that private schools were not charging any additional fee.

Replying to a call attention notice moved by Asiya Naz Tanoli regarding increase in fee of private educational institutions/schools in the federal capital, he said they were charging fees as in 2014.
