LAHORE (Web Desk) – Chehlum of martyrs of Karbala was observed across the country on Thursday.
Mourning precessions were taken out in various cities of the country.
In Karachi, the main procession of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) was taken out from Nishtar Park and culminated at Imambargah Hussainia Iranian after passing through its traditional route.
In Quetta, the main procession of Chehlum was taken out from Imambargah Naseerabad at Alamdar road Quetta. After passing its traditional routes the procession will culminate at the starting point.
In Peshawar, main procession of Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A) was taken out from Imam Bargah Alamdar-e-Karbala, Qissa Khawani Bazaar Peshawar on Thursday afternoon.
In Lahore, central mourning procession of Chehlum was taken out from Haveli Ali Shah at Androon Dehli Gate.
Strict security measures have been made on the occasion.
