Saudi-Iran tensions to be discussed in Parliament, says Abdul Qadir Baloch

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Federal Minister of States for Frontier Regions Abdul Qadir Baloch Tuesday said that Saudi Arabia and Iran crisis would be discussed in the Parliament.

In an interview, he said that an All Parties Conference may be called to discuss the crisis on the return of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif from Sri Lanka.

He said Pakistan would play a positive role to defuse ongoing tension between two brotherly Islamic countries.

Qadir Baloch said Pakistan was closely monitoring the situation as the Saudi-Iran tension could have negative impact in the region.

To a question, Qadir Baloch said that PML-N government had been focusing on improving bilateral relations with all of its neighbouring countries of the region including India.
