GUJRANWALA (Web Desk) – The federal religious affairs minister said on Monday Pakistan cricket team chief selector should be penalized for his casino visit during the ongoing World Cup.
“Gambling is ‘Haram’ in Islam so violators should be dealt with accordingly,” Sardar Muhammad Yousaf said during his media interaction here.
Moin Khan was summoned for a clarification over his questionable visit to the casino prior to Pakistan’s Pool B match against the West Indies.
Khan clarified he visited the casino in Christchurch for dinner with wife and friends and not for the purpose of gambling.
