ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – A meeting chaired by Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad was Sunday informed that 18 out of 32 initiatives announced during the last two budgets have been fully implemented.
It was also told that significant progress has been achieved on the remaining fourteen.
The meeting took stock of Prime Minister’s Youth Schemes and noted that Rs2.25 billion have been distributed among over 110,000 beneficiaries under Interest Free Loan scheme.
Under the PM’s Youth Business Loans Scheme, 5.9 billion rupees have been disbursed to 6593 beneficiaries. Over 43,000 students benefitted from Prime Minister’s Fee Reimbursement Scheme during the last financial year.
It noted that all the priority projects in energy sector are being provided the requisite financing to ensure their completion as per schedule.
