LAHORE (Staff Reporter) – Despite tall claims made by the provincial government, sugar price increased by Rs 8 per kilogram in local market during a month.
According to market sources, price of the commodity went up after the government approved export of 500,000 tons of sugar last month.
An estimated 500,000 metric tons of sugar will be exported in a phased manner till March 31, 2016.
