Robbers strike PIA office in Saudi Arabia

DAMMAM/LAHORE (Staff Report) – Burglars broke into the locked office of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, some two days ago.

As per reports, the robbers entered the national airliner’s office in Damman between Thursday and Friday and reportedly got away with thousands of Riyals in cash.

However, Danyal Gilani, GM Public Affairs, has clarified that it was merely an attempt and nothing was missing.

He said some miscreants broke into the office early in the morning and broke the locker on the ground floor which had no valuables, therefore nothing was taken away.

PIA has registered a formal complaint with local police, the PIA official added.
