ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Minister for Water and Power Khawaja Asif has expressed the hope to overcome the power load-shedding by 2017.
Talking to a news channel on phone, he said for this purpose, the government is working on a number of projects. He said electricity shortage had been witnessed during winter because of less hydel power generation.
To a question, he said Nandipur Power Plant would be fully operational in two years. To another question about the current petrol shortage, he said the government is taking steps to overcome the crisis. The minister said petroleum prices would be reduced further next month.
