MUZAFFARGRAH (Web Desk) – At least seven people lost their lives and over twelve injured in a deadly collision between a passenger coach and a oil-tanker near Shaher Sultan in Muzaffargarh here on Saturday.
According to media reports, the accident took place near Chowk Gopang in Shehar Sultan when a passenger coach coming from Rawalpindi hit it with oil- tanker with a big bang on GT Road.
Police said, several passengers were trapped inside the bus. Rescue teams and locals immediately arrived at the scene and shifted the injured persons to Tehsil headquarters hospital Ali Pur and District headquarters Hospital Muzaffargarh.
Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has expressed sorrow over the loss of precious lives and sympathised with the bereaved families.
