President Mamnoon for improved investment ties between Pakistan, Indonesia

JAKARTA (Staff Report) – President Mamnoon Hussain has stressed the need for taking steps to promote investment between Pakistan and Indonesia.

Talking to Indonesian Minister for Planning and Agriculture Ferry Mubber Shudan, who called on him in Jakarta, the President said there are opportunities to enhance trade volume between the two countries. He said Pakistan gives great importance to its relations with Indonesia.

He emphasised that both the countries should play their role to resolve the problems being faced by the Muslim Ummah.

Indonesian Planning and Agriculture Minister said Indonesia wants to promote relations with Pakistan in diverse fields. He said Pakistan’s participation in extraordinary Summit of OIC at the highest level has a great importance.
