ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) senior official Sarfaraz Merchant has been requested to appear in court by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).
FIA is probing him under the allegations of ‘funding of the RAW to the MQM’, Aaj News reported.
He is summoned to court under section 160 on March 15 to record his statement.
The inquiry team of the FIA will investigate allegations of money laundering, illegal purchase of weapons and funding of the RAW to the MQM.
