World Cup T20: Afghanistan beat Zimbabwe by 59 runs, enter next round

NAGPUR, India (Staff Report) – Afghanistan knocked Zimbabwe out of the World Twenty20 with an emphatic 59-run win to storm into the Super 10 stage in Nagpur Saturday.

Electing to bat, Afghanistan rode on Mohammad Nabi’s brisk 52 to post 186 for six and then bundled out Zimbabwe for 127 in 19.4 overs. “Very happy with my performance, especially in this main match and it was a tough game in the qualifying round,” said Nabi.
