IHC gives 2 day time for submitting documents in Musharraf case

Islamabad (Online) – The Islamabad High Court has given two-day time to submit documents regarding the petition filed against the order of lower court about non-bailable arrest warrants of former President General (r) Pervaiz Musharraf.

A single bench comprising of Justice Aamir Farooq head the case.

While appearing before the court the petitioner Malik Tahir Mehmood stated that presently former President General retired Pervaiz Musharraf is ill and he could not appear before the court owing to medical grounds.

He said that concerned lower court had issued non-bailable arrest warrant of former President despite submitting of medical report. He requested the court to declare the lower court decision null and void.

Later the petitioner has sought time for submitting the documents. On this court accepted the request and give two days’ time.
