ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria has said that Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz will meet Foreign Ministers of SAARC Countries on the sidelines of the SAARC Council of Ministers’ meeting in Nepal
The meeting of SAARC Council of Ministers, which comprises of Foreign ministers of all members states, is scheduled to be held on Thursday.
In response to media queries, the Spokesman said that the Advisor will extend Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s formal invitation to Heads of State and Government of member countries for the 19th SAARC Summit, being hosted by Pakistan in Islamabad this year.
The Spokesman, however, avoided to categorically confirm if Sartaj Aziz will meet Indian counterpart Sushma Swaraj to discuss resumption of composite dialogue of Pakistan and India.
