LAHORE (Web Desk) – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif will address the nation on tonight at 8pm (Monday), local media reported.
The PM is expected to call for unity and will take the nation into confidence following the deadly Lahore suicide blast and the ongoing protests in Islamabad.
A suicide bomber blew himself up at Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park in Lahore on Sunday evening, killing 72 people and leaving over 300 others wounded.
Prime minister, who cancelled his visit to UK, visited the injured people at Jinnah Hospital Lahore.
Earlier, Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif directed army to launch a crackdown on militant groups in Punjab.
