VIDEO: Kate Middleton and Prince William enjoy cricket and Bollywood on India tour

Mumbai (Web Desk) – Britain’s Prince William and his wife Kate played cricket with children attended a glittering Bollywood dinner on the first day of their India tour.

Shortly after arriving in Mumbai, they were pictured bowing their heads as they laid a wreath in respect of the 31 people who were killed in 2008 Mumbai attacks.

A message on the wreath read: “In memory of those who lost their lives and those injured in the senseless atrocities at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel. William, Catherine.”

The couple also met children from nearby slums at Oval Maidan cricket ground, where they played a friendly match with legend Sachin Tendulkar.

During the dinner, William gave a speech, revealing how his then-newlywed wife previously told him that India was at the top of her list of places she wanted to visit.

“When Catherine and I were married, India was the first place on Catherine’s list that she told me that she wanted to visit,” he told attendees.

The couple will also spend two days in Bhutan where they will meet the Himalayan nation’s king and queen and embark on a six-hour hike.
