Pakistan s revenue growth up by 19.7

ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Federal Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said that revenue growth has risen to 19.7 percent under the incumbent government.

Talking to a delegation of Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerce and Industry in Islamabad, the Minister said the government will continue its tradition of consulting the stakeholders before making important monetary decisions.

He said traders’ proposals would be also accorded due consideration in the forthcoming budget for fiscal year 2016-17. The minister underscored that cooperation between government and industry is key to revival of country’s economy.

The meeting also had a review of matters related to the mechanism for tax refunds.

Ishaq Dar appreciated traders and business community for their role in strengthening national economy.
