Two PPP activists injured as Faryal Talpur’s convoy attacked in Kotli

MUZAFFARABAD, AJK (Web Desk) – Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Faryal Talpur’s convoy was attacked in Kotli, Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) here on Saturday, local media reported.

According to media reports, unknown people pelted with stones at Talpur’s convoy when she was on her way to Kotli from Mirpur. MNA Faryal, sister of former president Asif Ali, is in AJK for electioneering.

Two PPP activists sustained injuries and some vehicles were damaged in the attack.

Political Secretary AJK government has alleged that Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) workers attacked Talpur’s convey and also abducted two PPP activists.

Meanwhile, PML-N leaders have refuted PPP claims and accused People’s Party of firing.
