ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid Tuesday said the Terms of Reference (ToRs) for the judicial commission on Panama Papers presented by the opposition were person-specific.
According to the opposition’s ToRs, he said those who had formed offshore companies and opened accounts to invest their legal money, could be investigated.
But those who had got written off their loans illegally and were also involved in establishing offshore companies could not be asked about their wrongdoings, he added.
Talking to a private channel, the minister said though the ToRs presented by the opposition had lacunae but “we are sincere to sort out the issues through talks.”
