NEW YORK (Web Desk) – Pakistan has called for promoting greater engagement across cultures to counter xenophobia.
Addressing a Pakistani festival in New York, Pakistan’s Ambassador at United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi said that the outpouring of art and literature in Pakistan was the most forceful response to a tiny minority that seeks to impose an alien orthodoxy.
She said she was proud that a festival of ideas from Pakistan had been taken overseas for the first time.
