KARACHI (Web Desk) – Over ten thousand seminaries exist in Sindh, a meeting of the apex committee chaired by Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Qaim Ali Shah was told on Thursday.
The meeting was told that a number of non-registered madrassas had been identified during the geo-tagging exercise in the province, of which 8885 seminaries are now registered with Sindh government.
As per details, 1178 seminaries are yet to be registered.
The meeting also reviewed the progress made so far in the ongoing operation in Karachi.
