LAHORE (Staff Report) – Shahbaz Taseer, son of slain Punjab governor Salman Taseer has revealed that he was severely tortured during his captivity, adding that his captors used to flog him, removed his nails and cut various body parts of his.

Talking to BBC Urdu, Shahbaz said that he was abducted from Lahore and taken to Waziristan’s Mirali tehsil. He added that his captors used to shift his location every month, adding that he was in Datta Khel till February 2015.

Shahbaz further said that he travelled from Afghanistan to Kuchlak on a motorbike, which took eight days, adding that he could not tell if his captors knew who he was, or whether he was moving towards his freedom or a trap.
