Trump becomes Republican nominee for president in the upcoming US elections

WASHINGTON (Web Desk) – Donald Trump the real-estate tycoon contesting the upcoming US presidential elections has been chosen as the Republican presidential candidate by winning the required number of delegates in his party’s internal race for presidential nominations.

According to media reports, Trump has 1,238 delegates, earned while defeating 16 other Republican candidates, one more than needed to become the Republican nominee.

The Republicans are likely to finalise their nomination at their party convention in July 2016.
