KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf has decided to give Imran Ismail the ticket for contesting by-election from NA-246 Azizabad constituency of Karachi – a stronghold of MQM.
During a press conference held here on Monday, it was formally announced that Imran Ismail will contest the by-election.
PTI is also going to hold a public gathering on April 19 at Jinnah Ground near MQM headquarter Nine Zero.
Mukka Chowk and other possible venues are being examined by the party, sources said, adding PTI Chairman Imran Khan is expected to stay in Karachi for four days in run-up to the by-polls.
By-election is scheduled to be held on April 23.
