ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – After Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has also announced that it will approach the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) to have members of the Sharif family disqualified from holding electoral office.
Former Governor of Punjab Sardar Latif Khosa while talking to media, said that the PPP had decided to approach the ECP against Prime Minister (PM) Nawaz Sharif, Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shahbaz Sharif, Member National Assembly (MNA) Hamza Shahbaz and daughter of the PM Maryam Nawaz.
Khosa also alleged that Finance Minister Ishaq Dar, the Sharif Brothers and Hamza Shahbaz had submitted false affidavits to the Election Commission. He said that if there were contradictions in the wealth statements of Nawaz Sharif’s children, the Election Commission should disqualify them.
PPP will also approach the Election Commission for the disqualification of Captain Safdar, he added. Captain Safdar is the son-in-law of the Prime Minister.
