ISLAMABAD – US Ambassador to Pakistan and Afghanistan Richard Olson on Saturday reached Islamabad on a two-day visit.
According to reports, Olson will hold meetings with Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and Foreign Secretary Ahmad Chaudhary.
Olson will also be present in the meetings of US political and military delegation with Pakistani officials. This series of meetings will be led by US Senator John McCain.
The US delegation will also attend sessions with Pakistan’s political and military leadership on Sunday in which key issues including Pak-US relations and regional security concerns will also be discussed.
The US delegation will depart for Afghanistan after completing its tour of Pakistan.
