ISLAMABAD – Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif telephoned the Saudi Deputy Prince and Defense Minister Muhammad bin Salman al-Saud to condemn the series of suicide attacks that hit the Kingdom on Monday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the COAS expressed sympathy with the families affected by the terrorist attacks. “We stand by our Saudi brothers in their fight against terrorism,” the army chief told the Saudi Defense minister.
Earlier, four Saudi security personnel were killed and five others wounded in a suicide bombing outside Medina.
Following the Medina blast, two other attacks were carried out in Jeddah and Qatif.
