KARACHI – A man killed his 18-year old daughter on the pretext of ‘honor’ in the metropolis’ North Karachi area on Monday.
According to police officials, Akhtar Hussain killed his daughter, Bakhtawar, using a pair of scissors due to suspicions he had about her ‘character’. The police official added that the girl had received fatal wounds on her abdomen as a result of the attack.
“The suspect later managed to escape after locking the door of the house,” police explained.
“His daughter was discovered later in the evening after her mother and siblings returned home from work,” the police official further said.
