DERA GHAZI KHAN – A woman gave birth to a baby in the bushes outside district hospital Dera Ghazi Khan after she was evicted from the hospital for not paying for blood tests.
The female relatives of the woman alleged that they had shifted her to the hospital for operation but the doctors did not examine her properly.
The staff had demanded Rs 400 for blood tests. On denial, they evicted the woman in critical condition after which she gave birth to a baby outside hospital’s main gate, behind the bushes.
The hospital administration has stated that the doctors had asked the woman to undergo medical tests and they were not aware of her serious condition.
