CM Sindh directs to ensure cleanliness in Karachi

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has warned all the administrators of the district, municipal corporations in Karachi to ensure cleanliness and garbage lifting in Karachi within forty-eight hours otherwise they will be put back.

Chairing a meeting in Karachi on Monday, he also directed that garbage alongside the roads should not be seen and arrangements for its proper dumping be made instantly.

Syed Murad Ali Shah also directed officials concerned that start works to remove encroachments in the metropolis.

Shah has warned that officials who fail to clear streets and roads of dumps would have to “go back to their homes.”

It is pertinent to mention here that ex-chief minister Qaim Ali Shah had given a three-day deadline to departments concerned for the same cause days before he was removed from the post.

The deadline was not paid heed to then and the metropolitan still struggles with cleanliness issues.
