ISLAMABAD (Web Desk) – Finance Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar had a telephonic conversation with Afghan Ambassador to Pakistan, Dr Hazrat Omar Zakhilwal, on Monday.
Ambassador Zakhilwal on this occasion said that there is no prohibition on the holding of Pakistani currency in Afghanistan and it is freely exchangeable.
He said certain media reports with a particular different portrayal are misleading.
The Finance Minister appreciated the clarification and expressed hope that it will facilitate the business activity between the two states.
