ISLAMABAD (Staff Report) – Islamabad High Court on Tuesday ordered the police to register an FIR against country director of United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) over the deaths of unarmed people in drone strikes in tribal areas of Pakistan.
The court, while hearing a petition regarding the deaths of civilian citizens in such attacks, ordered the federal capital police to register the FIR in next 24 hours and submit a copy in the registrar office.
Earlier an unofficial report by a United States based organization claimed that over 400 civilians had died as a result of these attacks in Tribal belt of Pakistan.
