Salman Khan opposes ban on Pakistani artists

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Bollywood giant Salman Khan has bucked the probable ban on Pakistani artists currently roped in for multiple projects in India.

Talking to journalists, Salman said they (Pakistani actors) are artists not terrorists, it’s the government who give permission to them for work here.

Reflecting on the claimed surgical strikes, the screen idol said:

”Terrorists the na? Proper action tha (They were terrorists, right? It was the proper action).”

Ever since the Uri attack jolted India, tension between Pakistan and India is on the rise and zealot groups in India are urging the ban on Pakistani artists.

Bollywood notables including Shah Rukh Khan and Karan Johar had already opposed the ban on Pakistani actors and singers working in India.

Due to serious threats, the concerts of Pakistani singers, Atif Aslam and Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan were cancelled amid India-Pak row.
