GUJARAT – A man allegedly killed his widowed sister after slitting her throat with a sharp weapon over a property dispute in Lalamusa on Sunday.
Police said Imran alias Kala allegedly murdered his sister, identified as Zahida, by slitting her throat with a sharp weapon early morning and fled the scene leaving the victim in a pool of blood.
The victim succumbed to injuries on the spot. The police quoted her mother Taj Bibi saying that the deceased was demanding her share in property. The body was shifted to District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for medico-legal formalities.
Later, police handed over the boy to victim’s family for burial. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
